There are times when I put on one and love everything about it. Other times, I wear another and know instantly that it does not make me feel the aura I'm looking for. There is always a certain mood, vibe, and flow that I want to create and experience in a garment. Why the Favorite Piece?

In my early 20s, I was willing to suffer and be uncomfortable for the sake of the look. I was dating, so catching the right fish was a priority. It was nothing to wear shoes that hurt or a dress that needed constant adjusting. However, somewhere in my 30s, I decided that being fly did not have to mean being uncomfortable.

I started growing in my fashion aesthetic, and easy garments became more attractive. I take a more modest approach to fashion because it is a large part of my life and brand. I do not care for the over-sexualization of women, specifically women of color. Being sexy does not always equate to being naked. (A whole other conversation we can have later.)

Emphasizing Femininity and Beauty

In my effort to bring beauty and sex appeal to my customers in a modest yet subtle way, I intentionally select pieces that highlight our femininity, fashion sense, and the privilege and beauty of being a woman. Kimonos are incredibly versatile. You can dress them up or down. They are comfortable and effortless. You don't have to do much underneath, and they almost always command attention as they are instant entrance makers.

Flowing in the wind as you walk, you look and feel comfortable yet beautiful. For the woman who loves the earthy, bohemian look, kimonos are a must-have. Additionally, they are some of the most forgiving garments. No matter your body type, when worn with the right pairings, they look beautiful.
