STYLING MOMENT - It's Not My Size, BUT.

There are certain garments that are not necessarily size specific.

HEAR ME OUT SIS.

Meaning.......

The size you want really depends on the look that you're trying to achieve.

I feel this way about hoodies and crewnecks.

You have a size.

But you really don't.

Because who wants to be boring?

The size can go up or down when it comes to a vibe, a look, or a moment you're in.

I don't really get into size as much as most people do.

I don't even weigh myself regularly.

Because the scale is not always indicative of how you feel.

And how you feel is the real tell-tale.

How things fit is my sign to shed a few.

I also have a knee injury that I got while pregnant with my second child.

I can always tell when I'm over my weight threshold, because it hurts.

Also, brands are often up and down in fit.

A size 10 in one brand can feel like a size 6 in another.

So I have learned to respect all of my curves, bumbs, and bulges, and dress for them accordingly, and with my mood.

When it comes to hoodies and crews, the best thing about them is how comfortable and forgiving they are.

Additionally, they can be dressed up or down in an instant.

And if you are in between sizes, perimenopause (like me), experiencing a little weight gain, on your monthly, and just need clothing that is not restrictive.....

They are so easy to throw on and go.

And sometimes, the baggier, the better.

Or if you've dropped a few, and love how you feel, a smaller size can be the look.

I recently shot content to show our viewers how I styled 6 different sizes of our crewnecks.

I am a standard US Size Medium, Women's Size 8 on top and 10 on bottom.

And I was able to effectively style 6 different sizes.

I understand that we are all built different.

And body types matter.

But I wanted to show the range that is possible when playing with shapes, layers, and levels.

Thinking outside of the box is one of the best ways to capitalize on a look.

Don't stay locked in to one look, size, or feel.

Venture out and enjoy yourself!
